A new pet dog arrived at my home. It is this Shiba Inu.
His name is "Momo." He was already 9 months old, hence his size.
But what is this?
How cute. Labradors were the only option for me when I thought of cute dogs, but isn't this Shiba Inu cute, too?
That's Momo the Shiba Inu.
It was just my first impression, and I'm not sure if everyone can tell, but the light brown hue of this Shiba Inu
really looks like bread.
Like freshly-toasted bread.
This gradation from light-brown to beige looks nothing but freshly-toasted bread to me. Therefore, the only answer I ought to give like-minded souls is to try and make "Shiba Bread."
"Huh, what is this all of a sudden?"
In other words, my plot to create a Shiba Inu from bread, whose, upon toasting it, toast hue or whatever, will give birth to the perfect composition. Since I suppose you like either Shiba Inu or bread, I wish to show everyone the outcome.
Without further ado, I am going to craft a Shiba Inu from the lump that is this pre-cut loaf of bread (the so-called 6-sliced, or 8-sliced).
A suitable loaf of bread they're selling around there would have been nice, but since it is relatively hard to find a whole loaf, I had to buy one at the bakery's in the end.
Pullman Loaf. Look at his name, he seems like a sharp guy. It didn't really have to be such a serious piece of bread, though. Either way, let's just buy it for now.
So, as I give it a cut
It looks delicious, and want to it eat it straight away. But, I mustn't. I mustn't eat it.
As I'm thinking this, Momo
There was no hesitation in his actions.
You serious? Let's do something about it before it gets eaten.
Well then, I would like to start making a Shiba Inu right now, but before that.
I would like everyone to know about this.
In its default condition, the bread is still fluffy and soft because of its good yeast, so in order to sculpt it, I need to make somewhat harder. Let's toss it in the freezer
to harden it up! Having just been bought by me and suddenly this, forgive me, bread.
So,
A fair amount of time has passed and the dog is sound asleep for now as well,
but as it is stored cold,
It's perfectly as hard as I want it to be. Yet, even though it's frozen now,
Momo took a bite at it again. This dog's crazy. When I take a good look, I get the feeling he's already licked it. But I won't let it get to me, and go all out sculpting!
First, I have prepared chisels. It's been since the arts and crafts class in elementary school. Being reunited since such a long time, gets to me, and I start crying.
And now, a simple blueprint
Let's draw it CAD-ish by hand.
First, I ought to create the Shiba Inu's characteristic protruding nose. First with a cutter
I want to eat it already.
Next, I should bring out a Shiba Inu-like forehead
I start scraping with a cutter.
Next
I imagine the slope of a Shiba Inu's cheeks
and start cutting with a cutter.
And more and more bread starts coming off. I want to eat it all.
Somehow or other, it's started looking like one. It doesn't seem Momo realizes what's being done to him.
And like that, I carve out
easily recognizable pointed Shiba Inu ears.
Momo seems to be taking a nap. He's taking too many naps, though.
So, let's start carving the rough whole
Flick out the nose with a knife
Flick out the eyes with a knife
Flick out the mouth too with a knife
Let's materialize these more detailed.
Okay, I have my outline now!
Well then, I'll explain once more:
Toasting this until it has a well-toasted, light brown, Shiba Inu-ish colour, should give birth to "Shibu Bread"!
Without further ado, as I'm about to toss this lump in the toaster, me being in high spirits,
Oh no!!
It won't go in!!
The lump is too big and won't go in the toaster!!
How dreadful!!
It's no use, since I can only cram it in partially, I have decided to toast each part one by one.
Half
"AAAAARGGHH!!"
I ignore the bread's dying in agony, and keep toasting it in the crimson flames one by one.
Oh, I get the feeling I got it up to a nice Shiba Inu-like colour! Or is it just me?
As for the finishing touches, Shiba Inu have very distinct black eyes and a black nose, so I should scorch those severely
Burning with something like a gas lighter.
Please don't do this at home.
As for its tongue, I should craft something nice inside his mouth, or rather let it hang out from his mouth I feel
Let's prepare a tongue-like ham.
And hereby I present to you the unification of Shiba Inu and bread: "Shiba Bread"
This is it!!
............
Looking from behind, all you can see is undisguised bread, but if you compare it with an actual Shiba Inu
Well, I get the feeling they look somewhat similar! Probably!
Either of them look like bread! Probably!
Thereupon
facing them off,
Momo immediately,
takes a bite at it! He's relentless! Apparently it smells pretty nice.
Momo, you'll be a cannibal if you eat this!
Momo, wait a moment!
And now as I try out this "Shiba Bread", all of a sudden!!
Not listening to my commands
Momo,
The Shiba Bread's tongue has disappeared!!
Did he eat it!?
He's only gobbled up the ham tongue!!
"No, I didn't"
So he says, but it's pointless to deceive me. You, and you alone are the perpetrator.
But I'll forgive him since he's a doting dog.
So, I wonder what it tastes like in the first place
Eating this as a human being
quite in front of it
!!
Well, tastes like bread.
But it's good. It's proper bread from a bakery after all.
But because it's shaped like a dog
I feel a bit guilty, so it's not such a good thing.
I'm sure it would be a lot tastier if I ate it normally, but that would ruin the whole point of this article, so I don't let it get to me.
Either way, upon giving birth to this "Shiba Bread," I was able to prove that Shiba Inu and bread look alike, so it's all good.
And hereby I hope that Momo the Shiba Inu will turn into a unique dog, so please love him as much as you can.
See you again, good night...
Yes.
The end. I hope you liked this week's "I like rice more than bread."
I hope you were able to reaffirm the charm of Shiba Inu and bread, and I would like to see you again. Goodbye.
I ate all of it, was delicious.
